Who She Is
Cindy is a mom, small business owner, and community leader who moved to Omaha over 30 years ago. She built a career in human resources and recruitment, and now runs a small insurance and financial services business with her husband, Fred. She's deeply involved in the community as:

What She Stands For
Ending High Property Taxes
Nebraskans are burdened by some of the highest property taxes in the nation. Young families can't afford homes, and seniors are being priced out. Cindy is committed to bringing bipartisan solutions to fix our broken property tax system so you keep more of what you earn.
Strengthening Public Education
Every child deserves a high-quality education that prepares them for success. Cindy will work to ensure our schools have the funding, staff, and resources they need—and will stand up to political attacks on our schools.
Supporting Workers and Small Businesses
Nebraska has over 76,000 regulations on businesses, driving up costs for consumers. Cindy supports removing outdated regulations that hurt small businesses and advocates for workforce development programs to help workers earn higher wages and help businesses end staffing shortages.
Defending Abortion Rights
Despite her Independent registration, Cindy is committed to defending reproductive rights and protecting Nebraskans' freedom to make their own healthcare decisions.
Why It Matters
Cindy ran for this seat in 2022 and came close—now she's back for 2026 with a focus on nonpartisan leadership that puts West Omaha families first over party politics.
